- Learning Outcomes: On the successful completion of this module the student will be able to: 1.Interpret flow charts necessary for the efficient monitoring and operation of dairy manufacturing processes. 2. Apply mass balance calculations to relevant dairy manufacturing processes. 3. Apply the principles of fluid mechanics to dairy process operations. 4.Explain the principles underpinning movement and displacement of liquid operations within dairy manufacturing. 5.Explain the principles underpinning unit operations associated with dairy manufacturing
